Business Coordinator

Tourism North East is looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Business Coordinator to join the team. Working within Tourism North East, this role presents an opportunity to play a pivotal role within the organisation and support regional tourism in Victoria’s High Country.

Reporting to the CEO, the Business Coordinator will assist with day to day administrative tasks, support internal and external corporate communication programs and provide general business support as required. The position is a part-time role (60 hours per fortnight) and is based in Beechworth, although travel will be required from time-to-time.

Tourism North East is the regional tourism Board for Victoria’s High Country, charged with leading strategic supply and demand driven tourism initiatives that deliver strong outcomes to the local visitor economy.

The organisation operates across the key areas of regional marketing, industry development, infrastructure and product development, strategic planning, advocacy and research, and works collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to drive visitation, yield and dispersal throughout the High Country.

Project Manager

Tourism North East is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager with a background in tourism. Working within Tourism North East, this role presents a wide variety of opportunities to support the development of regional tourism.

Reporting to the CEO, the Strategic Projects Manager is responsible for providing oversight of the development and delivery of assigned project initiatives that will support positive outcomes for the visitor economy within the High Country region. The role is multi-disciplinary, working across product development projects, marketing and, from time-to-time, supporting industry development activities. Although a generalist position, the Strategic Projects Manager will own a small portfolio of set programs in addition to project based work.
