Tourism North East are pleased to announce the launch of our new ‘open for business’ marketing campaign, promoting travel to the High Country with a focus on the areas recently impacted by the events in Porepunkah. The campaign launched on 22nd September, and is scheduled to run until 10th October 2025.

The Victorian Government has announced a $2.5M support package for the Porepunkah region, including direct grants of up to $5K for eligible businesses that have experienced significant disruption and revenue losses. Register now for further information.
