Have Your Say – Regional Tourism Business Capability Survey
The Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and regions (DJSIR) are seeking to evaluate the capability levels of regional tourism businesses. To inform this analysis, a survey is being conducted of regional tourism businesses in Victoria to better understand your capabilities across a wide range of areas. The survey closes on Friday, 6 September and will take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
Short Stay Levy – What we know so far
In August 2024, the Victorian State Government announced that the Short Stay Levy, introduced in The Victorian Housing Statement in September 2023, will come into effect from 1st January 2025.

Applications to Round 6 of the Wine Tourism and Cellar Door Grant opened on August 1 2024, and close on September 30, 2024. The Grant aims to support wine and cider producers who encourage visitation to wine regions, and thereby encourage wine tourism.
