Find out how your business can be more accessible to the millions of Australian and international travellers with an impairment or disability at a free, informative, two-hour workshop in Wangaratta on 26 March.

Accessible travel is perhaps the travel industry’s greatest untapped opportunity. Today, there are literally millions of people world wide looking for accessible travel options thanks in part to the ageing population globally. One in five people has a disability and $8 billion per year is spent on Australian tourism by travellers with a disability.

Essentially, providing accessible tourism means everyone can enjoy travelling, regardless of their abilities.

This free two-hour presentation will be an accessible tourism ‘101’ for business operators. It will look at the size of market, what constitutes a disability, rules and regulations, steps to be taken and ways to assess your own workplace or offer.

Paralympian and Wangaratta local Mark Soyer will be contributing to the discussion and available for questions.
