See High Country Facebook update

See High Country is the official Facebook page for the region, providing the ideal platform for people to learn about and share their travels throughout the High Country. To ensure that the See High Country page continues to engage and motivate existing and potential visitors, TNE has shaken things up through the addition of new videos, 360 degree photos and diverse albums that showcase key regional towns and all that they have to offer.

Where the site has traditionally focused more on user generated content, TNE is now actively promoting destination highlights including key events and experiences. By including more experiences and events in these posts and tagging relevant destinations and businesses, the user is encouraged to navigate from the inspiration stage of their search through to the all-important consideration and booking phase, delivering stronger tourism outcomes for the region.

Facebook is also always encouraging new, engaging and relevant content, so by mixing up the approach to the page, TNE has been able to generate some great results with fabulous engagement and sentiment across the albums and posts.

The content for the destination showcase/highlight posts are primarily provided to TNE by its local Council and Resort Management partners. So, if you have something that showcases your part of the High Country please share it with your local Council/RMB tourism officers.
