VTIC Conference and Membership

Registrations are now open for the 2017 Victorian Tourism Conference - VTC17 - in Melbourne in July.

The 2017 Victorian Tourism Conference is coming up on Monday 24 & Tuesday 25 July at Flemington Racecourse. The conference will offer an inspirational line-up of local, national and international speakers with a focus on building profitable, sustainable and resilient businesses in tune with the changing Visitor Economy.

VTIC is keen to encourage participation this year from smaller tourism operators who have not attended the conference in recent years as the registration fee is prohibitive.

As a result, this year a  special deal is available through Tourism North East in partnership with VTIC, whereby this type of operator can access a $400 event  pass (usually valued at $705) covering the two-day conference, networking function and dinner. Please note that accommodation, transport etc is not included in this pass.

If you would like to attend the Conference and feel that you qualify as a small tourism operator, please contact Tourism North East for details: [email protected]

VTIC Membership

In recognition of the great working relationship that TNE has with VTIC, the organisation has also developed a special membership offer for High Country tourism businesses. For a limited time only, High Country businesses can purchase an annual VTIC “In the Loop” membership for $50 + GST instead of $150.

As a membership based organisation, VTIC offers a number of member categories with benefits ranging from discounted training and events to workplace relations consultancy offered though VTIC’s partnership with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (formerly VECCI).

A VTIC “In the Loop” membership category provides regular VTIC and Victorian Chamber communications including their monthly eNews and quarterly Tourism Excellence magazine. They are also included in the VTIC online member directory and Jobs Board, Victoria’s only dedicated jobs board specifically for the tourism and events industry. Further, regular information regarding all VTIC and Victorian Chamber events and training is also sent to members.

To register for this special offer and 12 month VTIC In the Loop membership, please complete this special VTIC membership form and send it to VTIC’s Business Development Manager Ian McDougal at [email protected] . For more information, visit www.vtic.com.au.
