Applications are now open for Round 23 of Festivals Australia, an Australian Government initiative supporting arts and cultural projects that drive community participation and audience engagement in regional and remote Australia.
The program provides approximately $1.4 million each financial year to fund single, standalone arts projects delivered at regional festivals or significant one-off community celebrations.
- Eligible Projects: Parades, live performances, interactive workshops, installations, or exhibitions.
- Target Audience: Projects must encourage active participation and attendance from people living in regional or remote communities.
- Eligible Applicants: Regional artists, arts workers, and community organisations.
Round 23 of Festivals Australia is now open for applications, closing on 13 October 2026, for projects starting from 1 February 2027.
