The $641.6 million Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) supports the Australian Government’s commitment to create jobs, drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities into the future.

Round 3 of the funding has $200 million available to support two streams – Infrastructure Projects and Community Investments.

The Infrastructure Projects Stream supports projects which involve the construction of new infrastructure, or the upgrade or extension of existing infrastructure that provide economic and social benefits to regional and remote areas.

The Community Investments Stream funds the community activities including new or expanded local events, strategic regional plans, and leadership and capability strengthening activities These projects will deliver economic and social benefits to regional and remote communities.

For most projects grant funding will be up to 50 per cent or up to 75 per cent of eligible project costs with  location determining the percentage of grant funding you can receive.
